SCREENPLAY ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT

Congratulations! You finished writing your screenplay. Now, the real work can finally begin.

As artists, we are often proud and protective of the work we shed blood, sweat, and tears for that we tend to overlook the nitty gritty things that essentially make the big picture impactful. This is where professional script analysts come into play. Since the Golden Age of Hollywood, script analysts are the gatekeepers of studios and production companies who are given the authority to influence and decide whether your screenplay has the potential to get into the hands of literary agents, managers, producers, and studio executives who have the power to give your script that coveted greenlight status.

As a Hollywood-trained screenwriter and professional script analyst, I am constantly collaborating with independent filmmakers, writers, directors, producers, actors, and creatives across the globe who need expert advice on how to develop their stories and improve their writing. My goal is to walk with you throughout the rewriting process up to the polishing stage to ensure that each vital element of your screenplay such as characters, plot, story, dialogue, action, structure, tone, voice, and commerciality fit the industry standards of an award-winning masterpiece.

Let me help you turn your story from script to screen.

"It's never an easy thing to let someone review your writing, especially a screenplay. It's down-right stressful! A screenplay you have spent countless hours developing and even more hours re-writing.

But every once and a while, you connect with a person, in my case, Francesca, who guides you effortlessly on your work without taking away from your own words.
I trusted her whole-heartedly on my work and gave her free-range in the sense of critique. Not only were her suggestions and modifications spot on, but they also improved my writing in the future.

After her honest and personal feedback, I was able to sign with a production company to get my screenplay made. I am beyond grateful for her immense help."

"Francesca is a highly passionate storyteller and a great professional in everything she does in relation to the craft of writing. She is smart, resilient, and totally dedicated to her work, which combines story analysis skills and purely creative ones. She can easily find a plot hole in your work as well as she can give you the right tips to fill it up with tremendous originality. Keep in mind that before being a story analyst, she is a terrific screenwriter, too. So, she knows what it means being in that tough spot and doesn't hesitate to help newcomers out in finding their authenticity and ultimately their own voice.

I Wish You Good Luck, Francesca. You have a lot to offer to the world."

"I was writing my first script and I already knew Francesca by the time and I knew she was very talented. I trusted her to be my script consultant since the beginning. It was a very emotional and personal story so I knew she would be the perfect fit for the project.

Francesca's feedback and notes were very helpful. She helped me to understand my characters better and capture the emotions I wanted to tell. What I like the most about Francesca is that not only does she know about story structure and the elements of screenwriting, but she is also able to understand the emotions behind the story and be super honest and professional in giving feedback and notes. Francesca is super talented, I’m glad I had her by my side during the 12 drafts of my script and she’s very sweet.

At the moment, Piece of Me is in the Festival Circuit having been selected for 13 festivals and 2 awards so far. She’s always willing to make the best out of us. I have to thank her for the film's success. I have been receiving a lot of great feedback from the industry. We’ll work together soon. She's a keeper."

"In 2019, I was about to film a project based on a story I wrote almost 10 years ago. The script had all the usual problems: weak protagonist, dialogue-heavy narrative, structure not as sharp as it should be.

Francesca’s notes helped me enormously, and the script has transformed into something completely different. She gave me great advice on how to balance out the structure of the story, format the script properly, and rephrase some formal and “on-the-nose” dialogues.

The film has closed its first year of the festival circuit, won several international awards. It wouldn’t have happened without Francesca! Her taste, professional skills, and sensitivity in communication make her an expert in scriptwriting and story editing."
